International Womens Day

Hooray for WOMEN!

We celebrated 'International Womens Day' in the library on Friday 8th by screening the inspiring film "Whale Rider". Students from all over Wetherill Park College joined us for popcorn, cake and a chance to unwind. Thanks to all who joined us! Keep an eye on this page for more up coming events...

Join us in the library for FREE popcorn and a screening of Whale Rider PG. Whale Rider is a contemporary story of love, rejection and triumph as a young girl fights to fulfil her destiny.

Donate Life in the library

Nursing students along with a wide array of college staff and students shared their Wednesday morning with guest speaker, Jodie Tomajaka. As Specialist Donation Nurse from Liverpool Hospital, Jodie was able to impart knowledge on the donation process and answered curly taboo queries surrounding the subject. By sharing stories of patients remarkable survival, she was able to raise awareness as to why donation is so vital.

Friday Fun Highlights!

Thanks to all the students and staff who made it down to the Friday Fun events in the Z Block courtyard. It was a ROARING success, scoffing chips while shooting hoops, sipping poppers and getting informed about the college library while loaning DVD's.

Big thanks to the Student Association who fed all and handed out prizes for best slam dunk! If you're not already a member of the student association and are interested in discounts and events, stop by the office opposite the canteen (Block B) and speak to Lisa.
